What’s going on, guys? Rodrigo here with Asheville Cash Buyers. I wanted to record this video and share some information with you about whether we are able to buy houses during this time. Can I sell my house during coronavirus? Yes, you can.

How do we buy a house if we can’t see the inside of the house? How do we buy a house and still keep everybody safe? I want to let you know that we’re still buying houses and we still can buy houses.

So there’s going to be a couple of different things that happen obviously, since we’re not able – especially here in North Carolina at the moment – to go into a house that’s occupied.

So, first off, if the house is vacant, we can still buy it and that’s easy to look at. We can go take a look, make you an offer, and do all of that digitally. We can even close! You don’t have to go to the attorney’s office, we can mail you all the documents that we need, etc. So, if it’s vacant, pretty much business as usual.

So what happens if you live in the house or you have tenants in the house that you’re thinking about or wanting to sell? It’s a three-step process. Step one is call us. You’re going to end up talking on the phone with Carolina or myself. We will get some of your information and just talk a little bit about the process, make sure we’re a good fit for each other and make sure that you feel comfortable about how we approach this.

If you like what you hear and all of that feels good, then the next step is going to be for you to take some pictures and/or videos of your property. For this part, our goal is to make it as easy as possible. We will email or text you a list of all the things that we need pictures of, so you don’t have to guess what to take pictures of. We’re going to do that for you. This will be a checklist you’re going to get, via email or text, and you just go through the checklist and either video or take pictures of everything that’s on the list. Just follow the instructions. It’ll end up being somewhere in the neighborhood, depending on the size of your house, between 25-45 pictures. So will it take a moment? Yes, it will take a moment. But once we have those pictures, we can make you an offer and we can do all of this virtually or remotely, even if it means we don’t close right away. Even if it means we have to wait 30, 45, 60 days to close, we can do that.

So, again, it’s a pretty straightforward step, and what does it look like?

One, call us or go online and submit some information. Once we’ve connected and you feel that we’re a good fit for what you’re looking for, then we will send you a checklist of all the things and all the pictures that we need from you. Once we have those pictures, we will review. After we review, we will make you a cash offer. That offer is going to be an as-is offer, so you’re not needing to clean, change anything about the house. That offer is made with the understanding that the house is going to be the exact same way it is in the pictures, normal wear and tear expected.

Once we make you the offer you either say yes or no. Only say yes if you love it, if it makes sense for you, then say yes, and if it doesn’t make sense, then it’s okay. At least we know we gave it our best shot. Hope that makes sense for you.
